| | Kripalu Yoga |  | | At the Heart of Heartsong Yoga, Kripalu Yoga offers an experience of movements that stretch, strengthen, and balance the body. Classes de-stress and quiet the mind, inviting deep peace, relaxation, and an open heart. From Gentle to Moderate classes, there is a level of Kripalu Yoga for "Every-Body." Heartsong is an independent Affiliate Studio of the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. All of our classes are influenced by the Kripalu Tradition of Yoga, Sheila often calls the Astanga classes at Heartsong Astanga Yoga/Kripalu Heart.
Kripalu Yoga develops a healthy and strong body, an open and caring heart, and a peaceful and clear mind. Heartsong's Kripalu Yoga classes emphasize the importance of letting go of competition and judgment, being in the present moment, and embodying the qualities of compassion and acceptance.
If you are brand new to yoga, drop into any one of our Kripalu Yoga classes on the drop in schedule. These are perfect for stress reduction, relaxation, and developing strength and flexibility. Gentle Yoga is the perfect choice for those just coming back from an injury or illness, or anyone looking for a lovely, stress free yoga class.
All Levels and Moderate Yoga classes are also offered. New students are always welcome in the All Levels classes, especially those who feel pysically fit. Moderate classes are for those wishing for a more vigorous practice, and anyone with yoga experience, or those who have a regular fitness practice of any kind.
