Weekly Specialty ClassesThese special classes are generally held once a week, but are not on the Core Drop In class schedule. Some run in series, and all and require a separate fee. Drop ins are always welcome.

Creative Kids 'n Moms YogaNew classes, summer of 2013 Creative Kids Yoga increases self awareness, having fun while building self esteem and good health. The class will be filled with music, movement, creative and playful exploration, imagination, and energy.
Tuesday mornings, 10:30 to 11:30 am. Start June 25 through August 20. No class on July 23rd.
Ages: 2 - 5 $14.00 for one child and mom, dad or caregiver. $6.00 per another child in the family.

Let Your Yoga Dance/Journey Dance |  | |
with Lisa Katz Tuesdays, starting July 9, through August 20. 7:30 to 8:45 pm. Class cards, monthly memberships honored. Or, $14. to drop in ($12. student/senior rate)
Every Tuesday night over the summer of 2013. This yoyful dance inspired class will take you "off the mat" and all around the room to great tunes, soulful song, being led and guided by Lisa and inspired by her training and work with Let your Yoga Dance, and Journey Dance.
This class is a joy-filled power dance combining yoga, the breath, and user-friendly dance with fabulous music from all around the world. It is a funky, sacred, inspirational dance of the multi-dimensional self, bringing tons of fun and healing to body, mind, spirit. Let Your Yoga Dance is for every single body and wonderful for all ages. all are welcome because everyone is a dancer!
Weaving simple, guided movement sequences and free exploration, you will reconnect to your innate state of joyous well-being. Your mind becomes clear, free, and positive, and your body feels supple, energized, and powerful. Practiced to inspiring world music, your dance is an empowering journey to self-acceptance and transformation.

Mindful Tai Chi |  | | Join Robert Rivest for this weekly session at 4:00 pm every Sunday afternoon. Classes are free, donations will be accepted for the space! (right before his Laughter Yoga Class every Sunday)
This practice is a blend of relaxing tai-chi movements, nature imagery, and mindful breathing that simply melts tension away. Participants learn a movement series that energizes the body, quiets the mind, and relieves stress, allowing them to feel more alert, awake and aware, yet calm and centered. Robert draws on his 20 plus years of practice in meditation, tai-chi and stress management techniques from around the world.
Robert Rivest is a certified Laughter Yoga Leader, a Comic Mime Artist and a Stress Management Educator. Since 1983 Robert has given over 5,000 presentations on Mime, Laughter, Health and Stress Management. From his initial training in mime, dance, theater, and improvisation in Paris and NYC, Robert expanded his studies to include meditation, tai-chi, yoga, qigong, and Laughter Yoga. Laughter Yoga |  | | "The Joyful Laughter Yoga Club" combines fun, easy to learn, Laughter exercises with simple, calming Yogic Breathing (Pranayama).
Join Robert Rivest for this weekly session at 4:45 pm every Sunday afternoon. Arrive at 4:30 so everyone can start on time. Club "membership" is free, donations will be accepted for the space!

In Laughter Yoga Clubs, laughter is joyfully simulated in a group with full body laughter exercises/games and childlike playfulness. The "simulated" laughter soon turns into real and contagious laughter that lifts our spirits and carries over into our every day lives. Come join the fun! Ages: Mostly adults from 18 to 75 (with a few young adults in their late teens).

Gentle Chair Yogawith Lyn Hopkins, who, along with other trainings and certifications, is trained and expereinced with 'Chair Yoga' known as Get Fit Where you Sit
Spring semester ends June 26. No classes July or August, will resume in the fall.

This is a class for folks who are brand new to yoga, may have been inactive for a while, have an injury or health challenge, or just want the extra support of a chair for balance and stability! Some may use the chair, others may choose not too, Lyn can teach to every-body and everyone can benefit from this beautiful practice of breath awareness, quieting the mind, while stretching and strengthening the body. Perfect for those with arthritis, fibromyalgia, hip or knee replacements too!
