Directions from the Boston Area
Mass Pike West, almost 2 hours
Exit #6, Springfield/Chicopee
take a left off the exit, onto 291 West
then to 91 South, to exit #4, Rt. 83/E. Longmeadow/Forest Park
For the rest of these directions you will be following Rt. 83 all the way into East Longmeadow and to Heartsong Yoga, which is on Rt. 83.
End of the ramp:
Bear a little to the right, get into the "middle lane" (do not take an immediate left)
Take a left (following Rt. 83,) it goes under an underpass, go to the light.
Take a right up Fort Pleasant Ave. to the top of the hill.
Take a left onto Sumner Ave. (Still Rt. 83) stay in right lane.
On your right, pass the entrance to Forest Park Pass the Goodwill store Look for Walgreen's on your right, and there is a light. At the light, do NOT take a hard right, do not go straight. Instead, see Dunkin Donuts on your right, and bear to the right, keep Dunkin Donuts on your right. Still on Rt. 83, pretty well marked. (also called Belmont Ave.)
Follow Rt. 83. It bears to the right at a light, with a small gas station on the right.
Now called North Main Street, still Rt. 83, and you are in East Longmeadow...keep going... See Stop and Shop on your right, then the 99,...keep going... Look for a big sign on the right: 264 North Main Street, Condominium East. That is our building, it does not say Heartsong Yoga anywhere on the sigh. Look for a candle in the window! Park anywhere, up or down, but come in the front door, and we are:
Down the hall, second door on the right. Clearly marked.
