Movement Poem

Waking up this morning I smile
Breathing in I know I am breathing in
Breathing out I know I am breathing out
Embracing the present moment
I feel a deep connection to the earth
Aware of the present moment
I open my heart and soul to the horizon
Mindful of the present moment
I feel as light and free as the clear blue sky
Open to the horizon, connected to the earth
Earth, horizon, sky
I feel the energy of the universe washing over me
Releasing all tension
Breathing in I know I am alive
Breathing out I know
Happiness is available in the present moment
In this moment
Waking up this morning I smile

Poem and Movement Form inspired by the teachings of Thick Nhat Hanh and Chungliang Al Huang
