A Summer of Yoga

Summer is HOT....and Yoga is really Cool...........

Take a "Yoga Vacation" this summer,
with our monthly membership options:
Unlimited yoga classes for a month for $105.
Three months of unlimited yoga classes is only $300,
(which could take you all the way through the end of September!)
Or commit to the end of the year for only $570.
(6 months of unlimited classes from July to the end of December!)

New monthly packages must be purchased by the 6th of the month. If you want to do a membership and it is mid month, we will pro rate what is left of this month, and add it to next month or months membership.

July 4 Holiday Schedule
We will have morning classes on Thursday, July 3, but no evening classes.
No classes on Friday, July 4, or Saturday, July 5. Classes will resume in full on Sunday, July 6.




Ashtanga and Power Flow
At Heartsong we have more choices than ever for our students to try out a more vigorous practice. Ashtanga Yoga offers a challenging and graceful flow of yoga postures designed to bring the body, mind and spirit into perfect alignment and function. It is a more physical yoga style, and more challenging for some.

Level One Ashtanga Yoga drop in classes
Monday at 6 pm.
Wednesdays at 9:15 am.
Sundays at 9 am.
Perfect for beginners and those wanting to refine their practice.

Level One/Two Ashtanga drop in classes
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:15 am and 7:30 pm.
Saturdays at 7 am.
New students who feel fit and healthy are always welcome to these mixed levels classes. While not an "advanced" practice, it is a strong practice and generates a lot of sweat!

New Power Flow Yoga drop in class
Wednesdays at 5:45 pm.
This class is an eclectic blend of vinyasa, or flow yoga. Hot, physical and fun, all levels are welcome, but be prepared to feel the strength and the heat of the flow!

Yoga Nidra
Thursday, July 10, and August 7, 7:30 pm

Yoga Nidra is the name of the deep relaxation led at the end of every yoga class. This workshop with Heartsong's senior teacher Jane Anable will expand on the practice, giving you the chance to experience a powerful yoga technique for deep rest.

$18.00, pre register & pre paid, $20.00 at the door. (Heartsong Monthly Members always $18.00) Best to pre register, but drop ins always welcome.



Family Yoga
Sunday July 20, 11 - 11:45 am.
$5.00 per person, all ages, walk ins welcome!

Join director Sheila Magalhaes for this playful exploration of the practice of yoga, appropriate for all ages, especially those who just want to have some fun and enjoy a light hearted approach to practicing as a family and a community. Expect to make some noise, to celebrate animals and nature, and to enjoy some partner yoga. Find the yoga kid inside yourself!

Full Moon Yoga is also on Sunday, July 20, at 6 pm. The Hay Moon class is an all levels class, drop in, class card or monthly members welcome. The Green Corn Moon class is on Sunday, August 17.

Restorative Yoga
Monday July 21, and August 18, 7:30 - 9 pm.

This specialty class is taught by Heartsong's own Lauri Deary (Anusara-inspired yoga teacher) for an evening of Restorative Yoga which includes; pranayama, gentle movements to open the body followed by supported poses designed to promote rest and deep relaxation. This class is offered once a month.

Anusara Inspired Yoga is offered every Friday morning at 9 am with Lauri. It is an all levels class and a wonderful opportunity to expand your practice and try something new!

Ashtanga Yoga Second Series
Monday, August 25, 7:30 - 9 pm, with Michelle Ryan
$18. pre registered and pre paid.
$20. at the door. (Heartsong Monthly Members always $18.00)

Michelle will be dropping by Heartsong Yoga once a month to offer a second series workshop style class designed specifically for students who practice the primary series of Astanga Yoga already and would like to learn the second series postures in detail. She will lead the students in learning how to develop each posture as well as the modifications for individuals. The group will cover as many postures as there is time for! (Look for this specialty class once a month on the last Monday of the month!)

Also offered each week
Meditation and Mindful Movement with Robert Rivest is every Tuesday night at 7:30 pm. Drop ins are welcome and class cards and memberships are honored as well.

Nia, our newest dance and joyful movement class is every Wednesday at 7:30 pm, your first class is always free, and drop ins are always welcome. This class has a separate fee, and Nia class cards are available.
