Bring on Spring!March is coming and even with the threat of messy mushy snow we can almost begin to smell Spring in the air. I love hearing the geese flying overhead and yesterday morning for the first time I heard one of our neighborhood songbirds early in the morning, inviting us all to "Wake Up!"
Our new Heartsong Wellness Connection is designed to do just that...to "Wake us Up" and we have a wonderful event this weekend exploring the practice of Ayurveda as a way to navigate the shift into Spring, a time of growth, new life, and rejuvenation.
I'm feeling ready for the new season! I hope you will consider joining me and our guest presenter, Laura Hudson, this Sunday from 1 to 5 pm. If you pre register/pre pay you can save $10. Hope to see you there!
Peace, Sheila and Tony and "Team Heartsong"

Ayurveda: The Indian Science of Health and WellnessAn Ayurvedic Approach to a Healthy Spring Season! Sunday, February 28, 1 to 5 pm. $40.00 pre registered/pre paid, $50. at the door.
Ayurveda, which is the Indian science of health and well-being, recommends working with the natural shifts that occur as the seasons change. Spring is the time for growth, new life, and rejuvenation. The air gets warmer and moister, and plants begin to grow. As our ancestors knew, spring is the best time of year for cleaning house, and Ayurveda gives us tools for cleaning our bodies in a similar manner.
Come prepared for teaching, discussion, and movement as we will be exploring a yoga practice ideal for the spring season. Each participant will leave with a personal plan for daily practice to bring home and integrate into their lifestyle.
