Classes Courses and EventsReminder! Beth Wadden celebrates her 70th birthday this Sunday!
She will be teaching over her "birthday weekend" and would love to see her yoga buddies in any of her classes! On her "official" birthday, This Sunday, November 22 at the 6 pm All Levels class, we will share some cake and sing a few rounds of OM and of course, "Happy Birthday to Beth." We'd love to see you!
We are collecting birthday messages at the front desk so when you come to class this week please write her a note of appreciation for the love and light she shines upon this community.
If you are not able to come in this week, and would like to offer her a birthday greeting, you can Email me and I will post the messages on a special card and surprise her with it on Sunday night!
Thank you! Sheila and Tony

Annual Ashtanga Workshop | | | with Christine Hoar, Ashtanga Yoga and Yogic Lifesyle
Our annual post Thanksgiving visit with Christine! One day only, Saturday, November 28, 11 am to 4:00 pm Pre register and pre pay, by Nov. 23, $75.00, or pay at the door, add $10.00. All students who love a strong yoga practice are welcome to attend!
For the first half of the day on Saturday, Christine will guide an Ashtanga Primary Series practice which will flow into the Intermediate Series, playing with the postures, examining them and breaking them down as needed. The focus will be on alignment and energy within the postures and the refinement of breath as it informs the vinyasa for a flowing practice. We will also discuss modifications for individual needs, tension patterns, and rehabilitation in a compassionate and gentle manner.
After a short break, (bring water and snacks) the second half of the day will be a time for Q&A on the practices, the philosophy, and the importance of developing and maintaining a personal practice. This session is also a chance to ask questions about the basic principles of Ayurveda, the ancient science of self-healing, and how they can support your health and well-being as we move into the dryer fall and winter seasons in New England.
