Teaching Yoga for FoodPS...Even if you are not coming to the Yoga Mala this weekend you can bring in a donation of food for our first of the season's "Will Teach Yoga for Food" events. (And your can also make a donation to the Siddhartha School.) We will happily accept your generous food item donations for the Open Pantry throughout the week. Look for more events like this over Thanksgiving and the New Year's holidays.

The Global Mala Sunday, September 20, 11 to 1:30 pm. $15.00 suggested donation for the Siddhartha School in Ladak, India. Food donations will be accepted for local food pantries.
Meet a Tibetan Monk Khen Rinpoche, Geshe Lobzang Tsetan Sunday, October 25, 2:30 to 4:30 pm. All donations welcome for this opportunity to meet Khen Rinpoche, a Tibetan Monk from India, on his annual visit to Heartsong Yoga. He will share with us his practices of "Awakening Happiness: Cultivating Compassion" with Tibetan Buddhist techniques for experiencing joy in everyday life. Donations will be presented to Khen Rinpoche that evening, and will go directly to the Siddhartha School, a school that he founded in India for children to receive an excellent modern education while maintaining their traditional Tibetan culture. Will Teach Yoga for Food Thanksgiving morning, 9 am. Two classes will be held, an all levels class with Beth in studio A (no experience needed) and a silent Mysore Style Ashtanga Yoga session in Studio B with Sheila. (must have Ashtanga Yoga experience) "Free" with your generous food item donations for the Open Pantry.
New Year's Day, 3 pm. Two classes will be held, an all levels class with Beth in Studio A and a led and guided Ashtanga Primary Series class in Studio B with Sheila, no experience needed in either class. "Free" with your generous food item donations for the Open Pantry.
