An Evening with Beryl Bender Birch

An Evening with Beryl Bender Birch
We welcome back our beloved teacher Beryl Bender Birch, spiritual teacher, yoga therapist, and author of Power Yoga , Beyond Power Yoga, and the newly released Boomer Yoga.

Sunday night, October 25, 6 to 9 pm.

Get happy & healthy! Beryl will introduce her dynamic approach to yoga for the baby boomer generation, drawing from her new book, Boomer Yoga. She will decode yoga's secrets, and reveal how, through steady & comfortable practice, you can find balance and preserve peace of mind, even in turbulent times.

Those who are new to yoga as well as lifelong practitioners will find this energetic method a wonderful tool for staying agile, healthy, and fit. Weaving in personal experience, philosophy, and practical techniques, Beryl teaches how a conscious practice of yoga, from asana to meditation, can be used not only for strength and longevity, but to protect and restore the body from many of the common aspects of aging.

$45.00 pre paid, $50.00 at the door
All levels welcome, not just for "Boomers"

Beryl has been an avid student of yoga and the study of consciousness since l971. With degrees in philosophy and comparative religion, Beryl has traveled extensively in India, has been teaching the classical system of ashtanga yoga for 33 years, and training yoga teachers as "spiritual revolutionaries" since l980. In 2000 she was named by Yoga Journal as one of only seven American women in their "Innovators Shaping Yoga Today" issue. She is the director-founder of The Hard & The Soft Yoga Institute and a founder of The Give Back Yoga Foundation.
