Specialty Classes Coming Up
In addition to our full summer schedule of yoga classes, monthly specialty classes are offered regularly. Deepen your practice, enjoy an evening of rest and relaxation, bring your family and friends to Heartsong, or try out something brand new for yourself.

Family Yoga Sunday July 20, 11 - 11:45 am. $5.00 per person, all ages, walk ins welcome!
Join director Sheila Magalhaes for this playful exploration of the practice of yoga, appropriate for all ages, especially those who just want to have some fun and enjoy a light hearted approach to practicing as a family and a community. Expect to make some noise, to celebrate animals and nature, and to enjoy some partner yoga. Find the yoga kid inside yourself!

Full Moon Yoga Held on every "Full Moon" Sunday at 6 PM Sunday, July 20, the Hay Moon, and August 17, the Green Corn Moon.
The 6 pm Sunday night yoga classes that fall on or near the full moon are a delightful blend of mystery, history and magic. Join us as we weave in the stories of the moon and the natural world to the practice of yoga. Each special class is unique to the month & season. $14.00 to drop in, or use your class card, or FREE for monthly members, no pre registration required. All Levels welcome.

Restorative Yoga Monday July 21, and August 18, 7:30 - 9 pm.
This specialty class is taught by Heartsong's own Lauri Deary (Anusara-inspired yoga teacher) for an evening of Restorative Yoga which includes; pranayama, gentle movements to open the body followed by supported poses designed to promote rest and deep relaxation. This class is offered once a month.
Anusara Inspired Yoga is offered every Friday morning at 9 am with Lauri. It is an all levels class and a wonderful opportunity to expand your practice and try something new!
$18.00, pre register & pre paid, $20.00 at the door. (Heartsong Monthly Members always $18.00) Best to pre register, but drop ins always welcome.

Ashtanga Second Series Specialty Class Monday, August 25, 7:30 - 9 pm, with Michelle Ryan $18. pre registered and pre paid. $20. at the door. (Heartsong Monthly Members always $18.00)
Michelle will be dropping by Heartsong Yoga once a month to offer a second series workshop style class designed specifically for students who practice the primary series of Astanga Yoga already and would like to learn the second series postures in detail. She will lead the students in learning how to develop each posture as well as the modifications for individuals. The group will cover as many postures as there is time for! Look for this specialty class once a month on the last Monday of the month!

YogaKids Classes are Back! Heartsong Yoga welcomes back Garden of Om's Laura Mushenko, just returning from a month long yoga teacher training at Kripalu Center in Lenox, MA. She will be resuming her regular YogaKids classes on Thursdays, call for pro rating as these classes have just begun again. Classes are held on Thursday afternoons.$75.00 for a 6 class session. After this next session another will not begin until Sept. 11. Email Laura Email to pro rate, and for details of times and age groups. lmushenko@verizon.net.
Meditation and Mindful Movement Tuesday nights, 7:30 to 9:00 pm. This class is offered on an ongoing basis on our core drop in schedule, and you can walk in, $14.00 like a yoga class) use your class card, or use your membership! Join Robert Rivest and explore the many practices of meditation, along with gentle mindful movement.
Nia, our newest Dance and Movement Class Nia is new to our schedule, an exhilaring body/mind/spirit fitness and lifestyle practice. Classes are ongoing, every Wednesday night,7:30 pm. Throughout the rest of the summer, your first class is always free. Drop ins will be $14.00 per class, or purchase a 4 or 10 class directly from instructor Amy Greenbaum.
