Student AppreciationWe wish to thank all of the students who have been taking classes this summer and those who are returning after holidays and vacations by offering you the chance to bring your friends to Heartsong, for free, during these lazy, hazy days of August.
Here is how it works: Any class, any time, any level, you are welcome to introduce a family member, friend, or neighbor to the practice of Heartsong Yoga. One free guest per class, please. Your guest must be brand new to Heartsong, meaning they have never attended classes here before. You may, however, bring as many "different" friends as you would like during the month, to whatever classes you attend, but each friend may only attend once, for free. Keep it simple by printing a New Student Sheet and having your guest fill it out before coming to the studio if you can. Click Here. (Not mandatory)
We look forward to seeing you all over the rest of the summer, and meeting your new yoga buddies! A sneak peak to the fall offerings is below!
Namaste (We honor the light you shine in the studio) Sheila, Tony, and Team Heartsong

This Week | | | Yoga Nidra, This Thursday night, August 5, 7:30 pm Yoga Nidra is the name of the "yogic sleep" led at the end of every yoga class. This workshop with Heartsong's senior teacher Jane Anable will expand on the practice, as you are quietly verbally led into and through deep relaxation, giving you the chance to experience a powerful yoga technique for rest, rejuvination, health and joyful well being.
$15.00 for all to drop in! Drop ins always welcome.
New! For the rest of the summer: Ashtanga Mysore Style Classes, start Friday, Aug. 6, 9:15 am. (time change: class starts promptly at 9:15, come a little early to settle in if you'd like)
Mysore Style Practice is open to those students who have been practicing Ashtanga Yoga and are ready to take their practice to the next level, to be able to self-pace and move through the sequence without verbal step by step instruction! It is a way to practice in silence, with the support and inspiration of the students around you, the rhythm of the breath, and with quiet verbal assists and gentle pysical assists by the instructor, Heartsong's director Sheila Magalhaes. You do not need to have memorized the whole practice, we have "cheat sheets" and you will be surprised at how much information you already do have, inside yourself! Mysore practice can help you to have the confidence to develop a home practice, and is empowering as well as powerful!
Fee is our regualar drop in fee, class card or your membership
