I am humbled by Mother Nature and Her power.
I am grateful today, that my family is safe and sound.
I am happy to say that our teachers are well.
I am hopeful that you all well too.
I am thankful for our community and our practices.
I am sad that we had to close last night and this morning...
And I am sorry to say that we will be closed this evening, if the power has not been returned to East Longmeadow.
A dear friend reminded me that it ironic that a 3,000 year old practice cannot be done without electricity! While that is correct, and a quiet, candle lit class sounds lovely (last night I was able to teach a blended class without power, blissfully unaware of the chaos out in the world and before the sun set) but the truth is that the building is locked, the hallways and bathrooms are pitch dark, and there are no lights in the parking lot.
However, truth is, I cannot bear to miss more classes tomorrow,
so, with or without electricity, we will open tomorrow for:
9 am Anusara Inspired Yoga with Lauri Deary and
9:15 an Ashtanga Open Practice with Sheila
5:45 All Levels with Jane, subbing Beth.
I believe that we can go through the weekend as well, but check the home page of the website to be sure, or, call the studio for an update, anytime.
