How to choose your practice. When you are looking for a beautiful practice that is accessible to everyone and every-body, consider Kripalu Yoga.
Ashtanga Yoga is a more demanding, athletic physical practice, done in a heated room. Graceful, heart centered and strong!
(Hot) Power Flow Yoga is another hot and graceful class that we offer, an eclectic mix of yoga styles based on "vinyasa" or continuous flow yoga practices. (The room is heated)
(Hot) Power Core Strength is a strong Kripalu influenced class with a focus on core strength and stability. (The room is heated.)
Anusara Influenced classes can refine your practice and often use partner work and props.
Boomer Yoga is Heartsong's newest offering, based on the book "Boomer Yoga" by Sheila and Tony's long time teacher Beryl Bender Birch. This practice is an active, dynamic sequence designed for the Baby Boomer Generation, to stay fit, active and healthy in the years to come! (This class is offered seasonally and not always on the schedule.)
New students may begin their practice in the way that fits their schedule, present level of health and activity, experience, and desired level of challenge. All drop in classes are appropriate for adults, junior high school age and above. YogaKids classes are for children and young teens.
