In the past our prenatal classes have been on Saturday mornings, from 11 to 12:15.
We always suspend these classes throughout the summer, and bring the class back in the fall.
This year, we are unsure if the class will resume, so we have a couple of options:
1: If you are feeling wonderful, healthy and your doctor approves, you are welcome to consider joining any of our gentle classes. They are offered daily, nights and weekends. Simply let the instructor know that you are expecting, and you can enjoy the benefits of yoga in these classes. You will learn to modify and be encouraged to rest in some poses, but most of the class will be accessible to you, and our teachers and the other students love having moms-to-be in class!
Drop in class schedule (start anytime, no pre registration needed)
2: We need a core group to commit to the classes in 6 week sessions in order to start up again.
Without a core committed group we will not be able to run the classes. If you are interested in getting a classs started, shoot us an email...We have started a list of interested students.
So......If you have any questions or concerns, if want to get on the "prenatal list" or are just not sure where to start, call Sheila at 413-525-0720 to have a conversation before coming to your first class, or send her an email and she will be happy to guide you to the perfect class.
A yoga practice offers many benefits for a healthy pregnancy and healthy parenting. It can help to create strength and flexibility, and to develop steady focus and attention. Stress reduction and relaxation will support you throughout the pregnancy and during labor and delivery. Classes are ongoing, and new students are welcome to begin anytime. While these classes are appropriate for all levels of pregnancy, please consult your doctor before beginning this practice.
