Sometimes called Power Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga is a fun, hot, vigorous series of postures practiced in a heated room. The challenging and graceful flow combines breath and movement into a meditation in motion. No drop ins. This session will be taught in the Great Room, without lots of extra heat, to introduce you to the experience and the practice in an accessible way.
This course is a progressive course, each week builds on the one before it, and requires a commitment to attend the entire series. (We will grant you one missed class makeup. You must call/email to request the makeup, and will receive a credit to attend one drop in yoga class, with an expiration of 2 weeks after your course is complete.)
