According to Ayurveda, every season is associated with a dosha or quality:
Vata: fall and winter, October to February.
Kapha: spring, March to June.
Pitta: summer, July to October.

Autumn & Winter are the classic Vata seasons, described by Ayurveda as being dry, light, cold, rough, subtle, mobile, and clear (or empty).

Learn how to navigate and align with the Vata Season with the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, known as the “Sister Science of Yoga”. Develop new or recharge healthy habits on and off the mat. Experience a set of self care practices that align with the season and reset your body and mind for Fall and Winter.
Appropriate for all levels.

In this workshop we will start with a brief introduction/overview of Ayurveda.
Aimee will share with us:

  • How to find relief from Fall’s Vata Seasonal seasonal challenges
  • How you can change your grocery list to Fall/Winter choices.
  • What is a balanced nutrition in the Vata Season.
  • Explore Vata balancing yoga practices.
  • Explore balancing daily self care practices.
  • An introduction to Deepak Chopra’s “6 Pillars” of Perfect Health.
