Story Yoga Benefit Class for African Library Project

Date: March 12th, 2016.

Time: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Saturday, March 12, 1 to 2 pm. Suggested donation $10. 100% of donations will be used to pay for shipping books. The Brain Break Yoga Kids at Heartsong Yoga Center began a service project with the African Library Project in December 2015 as a part of their learning about yoga and yoga principles. The children have a goal of collecting 1000 books and $500 to ship the books to start a primary community library in Ghana as part of the African Library Project. They are working hard to share the gift of books with children like them who do not have enough books. This fun-filled, family friendly yoga class will support our efforts to raise funds to ship book donations for the African Library Project. The class is designed for all levels, children and adults and no experience is necessary. All you need is yourself (and maybe a few friends) – Heartsong Yoga has yoga mats available if you don’t have your own. Walk ins are welcome. (Book donations are also welcome.) Yoga poses and stories are woven together to create a unique and interactive practice for this busy age. Your child will experience the benefits of yoga as they learn postures which ask them to jump like a frog, swim like a fish, and fly like an eagle. Experience heart warming stories on life, love, family and sharing as well as music, deep breathing, and relaxation to introduce young students (and their parents) to the joy of yoga.
