This is a class for guys only, focusing on hamstrings, low back, tight shoulders and developing core strength and stability. The class is designed to provide men with an opportunity to feel comfortable in a yoga class with education, demonstration and practice of yoga postures from the Ashtanga tradition, based on the new book "Yoga For Warriors" by our teacher and mentor Beryl Bender Birch. (Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic athletic style of yoga that perfectly balances strength and flexibility!) No experience needed.
The classes will be taught by Steve Sampson and Mark Kent, who will be sharing the teaching time over the fall.
Pricing: same as all of our drop in classes.
