Mom and Baby Yoga

New to Heartsong Yoga! Mom and Baby Yoga Classes begin in the New Year! These classes will provide an opportunity to regain strength and flexibility, to bond with your baby and to connect with other moms. Taught by Heather Monson. A FREE intro will be offered on Tuesday, January 12, from 11:30 to 12:30.A six-week session will start on Tuesday, January 19. Classes are held from 11:30 to 12:30 on Tuesday mornings through March 1 (we skip the week of school vacation in February) Pre register for the series: $75., drop ins are welcome at $14. per class. No experience of yoga is needed, but if you did yoga before or through pregnancy these classes will help you transition back to your mat, and give you some loving time with your baby and new moms. Heather will offer stability-building poses, core strengthening movements, tension-relieving breathing techniques and opportunities for baby massage and "partner work" with your little one. Pre-crawling babies are at the perfect stage for these classes. Moms are encouraged to meet the needs of the child first and foremost, and breastfeeding is always welcome.
