Explore the traditional count and enjoy the sweet sounds of Sanskrit as Stan leads and guides us through the Ashtanga Yoga practice, "old school" style, in studio or zoom livestream. Then (in studio only) each class will be followed by discussion.

A Led class is effective in flushing away unconstructive self-practice habits such as a wandering mind, losing the connection with the breath, or fidgeting between postures, and provides an opportunity to refine your practice by following the ‘count’ as it is traditionally prescribed.

Come and explore and discover a deeper understanding of why and what we are “practicing” on our yoga mat. Yoga is a means to engage our senses and a path to control the mind leading to great happiness, awareness and understanding of our true self. We will look at how Patanjali described “practice” and take a deeper look at the 8-limbs. The afternoon workshops are designed as a discussion/study group to help us better understand yoga and the benefits of yoga.
