These retreat style workshops are designed to provide Mothers-to-be with tools and practices for self-care, which nurture their natural wisdom of breath and movement during pregnancy. The workshops will complement prenatal care to provide positive and safe experiences that supplement traditional classes for labor and birth, and as an introduction to the practices of prenatal yoga for ongoing yoga classes during pregnancy. Come to one, or all of the workshops. Come for community and friendship, to learn from one another, and to self-reflect. Learn breathing techniques to reduce stress and promote relaxation during labor, which will also help for postpartum, breast feeding, and being a new mom! Learn gentle yoga postures and stretches to prepare the body for a healthy birthing experience.
Use this information to attend gentle yoga classes, or a prenatal course. Not a pre-requisite for the 6 week prenatal yoga classes offered at Heartsong.
Series begin: January 28 and March 18, $95 for 6 classes or drop in $20. each.
