Led Primary Series Practice & Discussion
(Start at 9:00 am.)
When movement and breath fuse together, the energy carries the body seemingly effortlessly, and focus moves from the exterior to the interior, we reach Tristana. Tristana is the name for the union of vinyasa, bandha and drishti. Breathing is the foundation of vinyasa. The alignment of the body in asana is achieved through bandha. Drishti completes the trio and builds the bridge, to carry the essence of your practice from the yoga mat into your daily life.
Come and experience the traditional led practice of Ashtanga Yoga in Sanskrit.
Stan will guide you slowly and steadily through the whole Primary Series.  Practice will begin and end with discussion time to explore Tristana and the traditional practice of Ashtanga Yoga.

Develop your Practice Workshop
(1:00 to 3:00 pm.)
Spend the afternoon learning more about Ashtanga Yoga.
We will focus our discussion on the traditional Mysore style practice, the intention for practicing and the nitty- gritty of proper breathing, use of drishti and vinyasa movements of primary and second series.  We will also discuss injuries and ways to continue practice using this methodology as a healing tool.
Plenty of time for Q&A.
