"Tri-Yoga" Yoga benefit for "Shooting Touch" class for all Athletes

A workshop designed specifically for these athletes to experience the benefits of Yoga through discussion, practice and Q & A.
 
A dear friend of Heartsong is going to run his first Boston Marathon on behalf of Shooting Touch, and has set out to raise $5,000, which his employer is going to match. We would be honored with your support, suggested donation, $20.   Shooting Touch, an international sport-for-development organization whose mission is to use the mobilizing power of basketball to bridge health and opportunity gaps for youth and women facing racial, gender, and economic inequalities.

This class is In-Studio only.  
Please bring your own yoga mat.  (we only have a few to share and prefer to have students bring their own.  Mats are available everywhere, even CVS carries them now! If you want to have props at home to continue cross training, when you purchase a mat pick up 2 soft foam yoga blocks as well.)
 
Taught by Patty DeLuca, a nurse and a member of the Medical Team at Ironman Triathlon World Championships, very involved with a large triathlete club in Western MA.  Patty is a cancer warrior and survivor, who found Yoga in 2012 and experienced benefits of the practice throughout her treathment and recovery, and has since been certified to teach yoga through several teacher training programs including The Connecticut School of Yoga, the Hard and Soft Institute at Heartsong Yoga, and Restorative teacher training at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health. Patty's goal is to help every-body become stronger and healthier through yoga.
