We will explore how hatha yoga and Svaroopa-style yoga cultivate inner peace by releasing tension from your spine while aligning your body, mind & spirit with your true nature. A sequence of supportive restorative yoga poses together with strengthening and heart opening poses, breathing techniques and guided relaxation will promote a greater sense of well being. The beneficial effects will leave you feeling radiant, more alive, energized and at peace. Wear comfortable clothes and layers. Appropriate for all levels, beginners welcome. Bring along a friend!
Lauri Deary is a Hatha style yoga teacher. She teaches with the intention to empower, inspire lightheartedness, and joyful creativity in each yoga class. You can find Lauri every week at Heartsong, on Tuesday nights at 6 pm, or Fridays at 9 am.
Maureen Quinn's teaches Svaroopa style yoga and Embodyoga. She teaches with the intention to support the settling of the nervous system so that students can feel the clarity, ease, and peace within themselves. In addition to teaching yoga, Maureen practices CranioSacral Therapy and Somatic Experiencing.
