Yoga's "8 Limb Path" philosophy and history, and it's relationship to every day life.
A discussion about your "Balanced Day"
Ways to access and develop your "Spiritual Muscles"
Yamas and Niyamsa, the ethics of Yoga
Yoga: gentle, restorative, nidra and partner work will be explored.
Meditation: discussion and practice.
A completion project at the end of the day! (create a Vision Board!)
The pre class "assignment" will give you a background and a starting off point for the discussions we will have together, in large and small groups. We will stretch, move, play and relax deeply over the course of this day. We will explore and learn together about the power of Yoga to enhance our every day lives. Bring a light bagged lunch and a drink for a mid day break, and a handful of magazines that you are willing to cut up and/or share with the group, and scissors for the completion project at the end of the day. All levels are welcome to this adventure!
