Mondays: with Danielle D'Amour (Hernandez), in the Bamboo Room December 3, December 10, December 17, 7:15 to 8:30 pm. Take all three classes for $45. or drop in $20. per class Bikram Yoga is a series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises done in a heated room. The series is specifically designed to safely warm and stretch the muscles, ligaments and tendons in an order which maximizes their use and strength, systematically working every part of the body, to give all the internal organs, all the veins, all the ligaments, and all the muscles everything they need to maintain optimum health and maximum function. Each component takes care of something different in the body, and yet they all work together synergistically, contributing to the success of every other one, and extending its benefits. In a traditional Bikram Yoga studio the temperature can be over 100 degrees…but here we will do our best to get to about 90 with good humidity as well. Danielle is certified in Bikram Yoga, as well as other hot and flowing yoga styles, you can find her at our new 4 pm Friday afternoon Dynamic Flow class. We are simply curious to see if there is an interest in Bikram Yoga by our community and are happy to bring Danielle into Team Heartsong.
