March 24, 1 - 3 pm.  $35. pre paid, $40. at the door.

With all of the academic, social, and extracurricular demands children meet every day, navigating their busy lives can become overwhelming, especially since their social and emotional needs require a delicate balance. What if parents could improve the entire family's well-being by practicing simple daily habits?

Starting early in life, we teach children to brush their teeth and buckle their seat belt, essential practices for health and safety. In this workshop, participants will learn how to implement easy research-based skills and strategies that will help everyone in the family reduce stress and anxiety, flourish, and thrive in life.

Not a Yoga Program...all are welcome (adults only) and we appreciate your sharing this program with anyone who might benefit from this training!

Gena Rotas is an Author and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a private practice here in East Longmeadow. She teaches Mindfulness & Meditation at Heartsong on Tuesday nights.  As a Mindful Life Coach, she has conducted Mindfulness Training programs for local school districts, community leadership, business organizations, adults and children of all ages. As an educator and a social worker, Gena understands that information sticks when people are engaged and having fun.  In this human adventure it is paramount that acquiring new ideas and strategies be peppered with the delight of curiosity and inquire that you had when you were young. Her latest book:  "Love YOU: Small Changes to Quiet the Gremlins and Tame Those Unhealthy Habits, Behaviors and Addictions" was written to help you find love for yourself and a roadmap to becoming your own best friend so that you might thrive and flourish in life.
