Send her the non-refundable $900. deposit to hold your space.

We recommend that you purchase travel insurance. AAA and Costco both sell travel insurance. Although the deposit is non-refundable through the Ripjack Inn, most travel insurances will refund the entire amount you paid if you need to cancel due to illness, injury or family emergency...read the fine print! Their policies may have changed since 2020.
